NEWSLETTER ________________________________________________________________1-715-262-3556________________________June 2010___________________________________ It's that time of year again when the trees and plants are starting to bloom, you can finally start grilling again, you get to mow the lawn for the first time, and yes, you finally get to take out that precious, well cared for car in your life, clean her up and take her for her first spin of the year! Yes, every car enthusiast looks forward to this day. Whether it is the everyday vehicle and you finally get to put on her summer tires and wheels, or getting the baby out of the garage, doesn't it feel great to be able to get them out, looking good, and back on the road again! For those of us "car nuts," we spend hours in the winter staring glossy eyed at the car magazines dreaming of what we should do to our cars next, then we start primping and prepping that special vehicle, and when we finally get to take her out, there is nothing like it! You get that big grin from ear to ear as your sitting behind the seat, maybe the wind in your hair (if you have hair for the wind to blow), maybe a little drool dribbling down your chin because its been so long. Now after all that, you start looking for new places to drive to, start thumbing thru all the car show flyers and filling up your weekends, calling up the "car buddies" wondering when and where to meet next. Some of you know exactly what I am talking about and describes you to a "T", and others wonder what the big deal is - it is "just" another car. For those of you that think these vehicles are "just another car," have not been to a car club meeting, a car show, or maybe you have yet to find that "special one" of your own. Think back to when you finally got your first car. How exciting it was; the first time you cleaned it up and made it your own, then took it out on the town with your friends riding shot-gun. Well, this is kind of the same thing, only bigger! Most car enthusiast treat their vehicles better than they treat their kids, sort of. No one is allowed to touch them, drive them, lean on them, or have food or beverages anywhere near them (having food in the car is just asking for it), wash and wax them almost every time they go anywhere, don't park too close to anyone else, and the car does not leave the garage if it is - or is going to rain! You get the picture. Well, we hope everyone gets out this summer with their special vehicle(s) and makes the most of the sunny weekends we have. See you at the car shows! Drive Safe!
